Indie Horror Game — Full Team Needed
Building a first-person psychological horror game in Unreal Engine 5. Looking for environment artists, a sound designer, and a narrative designer to join the core team.
We're a small indie team of 3 (programmer, game designer, concept artist) building a first-person psychological horror game in UE5. The vertical slice is done and we're looking to expand the team for full production. The game is set in an abandoned research facility with a focus on atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and psychological tension over jump scares. Target platforms are PC and console. We have a publisher interested but no deal signed yet.
Revenue share — equal split among all team members after publisher cut
6-8 months to release candidate
Build modular environment kits for interior spaces — brutalist architecture, labs, offices, corridors. PBR textures, Nanite-ready meshes. 15-20 hours/week expected.
Create ambient soundscapes, foley, and UI sounds. Mix spatial audio for immersive horror. Must be comfortable with Wwise or FMOD integration.
Write environmental lore (notes, recordings, terminal entries), dialogue for 2 NPCs, and the overarching mystery plot. Work closely with game designer on pacing.
